GABRIELA GAIA

 Gaia works with screenwriting, development and directing audiovisual projects. Throughout her career she has created content for Amazon Prime, HBO, Facebook, Canal Brasil, and many others. In 2022 she co-directed the fictional documentary ESCASSO, winner of best film at Festival do Rio, the IndieLisboa Festival and the Brasilia Film Festival. The film was considered one of the seven best of the year by Lincoln Center at MoMA, and was shown in the 2023 ‘New Directors, New Films’ exhibition, where Gaia was mentioned as a director of new cinematographic languages.
